BATTERY
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT BATTERY?
Voltage, capacity, dimensions, polarity, terminal type: here are the key checks for choosing a battery compatible with your machine, safely.
01 |
BATTERY TYPES & SAFETY REMINDER |
On our site you will find mainly maintenance-free batteries (gel) and conventional lead-acid batteries supplied dry, in line with European safety standards.
|
ACID SAFETY
Handle the acid with care (gloves, goggles) and follow the correct connection order.

ESSENTIAL CHECKS |
|
DIMENSIONS
Measure the old battery or the housing (L × W × H). Too big = won't fit.
|
VOLTAGE & CAPACITY
6 V or 12 V depending on the machine; capacity in Ah (e.g. 12 V – 18 Ah).
|
|
POLARITY
Check the position of + and −; reversing them prevents connection and can damage the equipment.
|
TERMINAL TYPE
SAE, Faston tabs, M6/M8 screws, etc. choose a compatible type or plan for adapters.
|
03 |
ACID VOLUME (CONVENTIONAL ACID BATTERY) |
Conventional acid batteries are supplied without electrolyte. The volume of acid to plan for is shown on the product listing. Order it separately if needed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS |
Can I switch from 6 V to 12 V?
No. Stick to the machine's original voltage.
Can I increase the Ah?
A slight increase is possible if the battery fits and the charger is compatible. An unnecessarily high capacity brings no noticeable gain.
How can I be sure of the polarity?
Look at the + / − markings moulded on the battery and compare them with your wiring.
